If you really want to know how the Euro notes look, the 20 and 50 Euro notes are pictured below. More are available at a page of the European Central Bank.
A few of the features are originally from the Dutch banknotes but it isn't quite the same (yet)... Wow, how ugly they are!
I heard this when someone was paying in the supermarket during the transitional fase:
"I can pay in Dutch money or with euros."
