1 guilder coin, 2001, front and back. Special edition to say goodbye to the guilder. Front side was designed by 12 year old Tim van Nelis, pupil of a school in the town of Gemert. The backside was designed by Michael Raedecker and Geerten Verheus. 16 million were brought into circulation. Funny enough one would not see this coin often, but I received it with my last change money in guilders in december 2001. Reign (1980-2013) of Queen Beatrix (1938-).
